Fishing Charters in Miami Beach
Sport fishing and offshore charters from Miami and Miami Beach.
Miami fishing charters cover everything from calm-water inshore trips for families to serious offshore sport-fishing runs into the Gulf Stream. The Gulf Stream runs closer to shore here than almost anywhere else in the country — big-game species like mahi-mahi, sailfish, tuna, wahoo, and marlin are reachable within a 30–45 minute run from the Miami Beach marinas, which is why Miami sits on every serious offshore angler’s short list. Inshore trips stick to Biscayne Bay and the flats, targeting snapper, grouper, snook, redfish, and tarpon on calmer water — a better fit for younger anglers or anyone prone to seasickness.
All of our charters include a licensed captain, bait, tackle, ice, and Florida fishing licenses for everyone on the boat — you just bring food, drinks, and whatever you want for a day on the water. Half-day (4-hour), three-quarter-day (6-hour), and full-day (8-hour) charters are standard; longer tournament-style trips are available on request. Most captains will clean your catch at the dock, and several marina-side restaurants will cook it for you the same evening. Peak season for big offshore species runs winter through spring, but Miami fishes well year-round. Traveling with non-anglers? Pair a fishing charter with a Biscayne Bay cruise or a boat tour for the rest of the group.
