Jet skis — or waverunners — are one of the most popular ways to get out on Biscayne Bay, and Miami Beach is arguably the best spot in the country to ride one. Our operators are clustered near 300 Alton Road on the bay side of South Beach, a short walk from most hotels, and every rental includes a safety briefing, life jacket, and fuel for the session. Florida law allows riders 14 and older to operate a jet ski with a Florida Boating Safety ID; if you don’t already have one, you can complete the short course online the morning of your rental.
Rental-only sessions stay inside a designated riding zone visible from the launch dock — ideal for first-timers and anyone who just wants to rip around at their own pace. Guided tours take you beyond the zone toward Star Island, Monument Island, and Haulover Sandbar with an experienced lead rider, and they’re the best choice if you want to cover ground and actually see something. For groups, multiple waverunners can be booked together — doubles and singles are both available so each rider picks their setup.
