American WaterSports Boat Rentals LLC is licensed by the City of Miami Beach, the State of Florida and our local Marine Authority Board. We are independent contractors for the FWC (Florida Fish & Wildlife Commission) and can issue temporary boating certificates to those who require them (for self-driven rentals). Our staff is trained and certified by the FWC.
Boat Rental Referrals
Boat rentals can be self driven (client drive the boat themselves) or go out with a captain. Captains are an additional $45 per hour and require a 1 hr lead time. Self-driven boat rentals require a $1500 security deposit (at the time of the rental). Cash or Card. The actual rental rate is the commissionable rate. Commission is not paid on tax, gas or captains fees.
Yacht Charter Referrals
Yacht charters come with a Captain and Stewardess or Mate and include light snacks and refreshments. Additional provisions can be catered or clients may bring their own. The actual charter rate is the commissionable rate. Commission is not paid on tax, gas, captain fee, crew fee or provisions added. Commission % varries based on the deal with the individual yacht owner or manager.
How to Book
Visit our Boat Rentals or Yacht Charters pages to show your client available options and pricing. Give us a call or text to confirm availability on the desired day / time. Book the reservation and toggle "Yes" for Concierge Referral. Your referral information will be added to the reservation and you will receive a calendar invite. This invite is where we will make any updates regarding the rental or charter (cancellations / refunds etc). Once the rental is completed, you will be paid for the referral.
How You Get Paid!!
After the rental has completed, you will be paid via Zelle or PayPal. If necessary, we can work out an arrangement where you collect your commission up front and then the client pays us the balance due. This is only done for those who have systems in place with corresponding cancelation and refund policies.

To be eligible you must meet one of the following criteria: Work at a hotel or resort as a concierge, work for a concierge servic , work for a booking company or agency, own or manage a local vacation rental property that refers to us, work for another boat rental or yacht charter company who refers overflow to us or have signed up and been approved as an affiliate.
Notice: If you are referring from the Miami Beach Marina, we do not pay commissions for clients who walked up to the property for boat rentals. This is because our marketing has likely brought these customers to the property as we are the only boat rental company with an actual location here. If you are an affiliate on the property, we hope that you would direct these customers to us as we would direct someone looking for your services to you. Commission will be paid for any clients you book prior to them arriving to the property.
